Drew is a Seattle native hailing from Queen Anne hill who went to O'Dea High School. He played his youth lacrosse for the Queen Anne Warriors & Garfield High School. Snider graduated from the University of Maryland where he appeared in two ACC championships, as well as two NCAA Div. 1 championships; being named captain his senior year. Drew is a 4x professional champion as well as a bronze & gold medalist with Team USA. Drew has used the knowledge from his playing career to help coach around the world for the last 16 years.

Chris O'Dougherty is a professional lacrosse player and four-year starter at Rutgers University. OD is a New Jersey native but has played, coached, and lived in the Seattle area since 2009.

Eli

|
Eli is a professional lacrosse player and an Ithaca College graduate. Eli grew up in Ithaca, NY and moved to Seattle in 2017 to pursue a career in coaching. He was a standout player at Ithaca College where he led the Bombers to two conference championships and an appearance in the NCAA Quarterfinals in his Senior year. During his rookie campaign in the MLL, Eli helped lead Denver to their third MLL Championship in the last five years. He was recently signed by the San Diego Seals of the National Lacrosse League (NLL). Eli has been playing and coaching lacrosse for over 17 years.

Will Snider is a Seattle Native and rising junior midfielder at the University of Maryland. Playing youth lacrosse for the Queen Anne Warriors Will continued his High school career at Nathan Hale High School where he was a two-sport athlete in Basketball and Lacrosse. During his time at Nathan Hale both his dad Kris and his brother Drew both coached him alongside CitySide coach John O’Neill. After graduating he attended the Salisbury school in Connecticut for a Post Grad Year playing both basketball and lacrosse.

Jason is a Seattle Native and graduate of Lafayette College. Jason started playing lacrosse for Queen Anne and went on to play Garfield High School. After high school Jason played 4 years at Div. 1 Lafayette College in Easton, PA. For the past 6 years Jason has coached high school lacrosse across the country including California, Texas, Illinois, and Seattle. Jason joined the City Side team in 2017.

Cooper is a Seattle native and was born and raised in Magnolia. He played his youth lacrosse for the Queen Anne Warriors. In high school, he attended University Prep but played at nearby Nathan Hale high school. As a senior, Cooper was named captain and helped lead the Raiders to their first ever Washington State championship. He went on to play NCAA Division III lacrosse at Swarthmore College located in Philadelphia, PA. While at Swarthmore, Cooper was a 2 time Centennial Conference semifinalist and an ECAC Mid-Atlantic Region champion. Cooper also played internationally with the USA Starz Lacrosse program.

Chris is entering his second season coaching for Cityside with the 2024 team. In high school, Chris was an all-league defenseman at Bellevue High School where he helped the Wolverines win 3 straight State Championships on the lacrosse field, along with four straight on the football field as an all-league guard. After high school, he went on to play Defense at the University of Washington for three years where was a two year captain and president of the club, earning all conference honorable mention honors.
In 2018, Chris decided to turn to coaching. He began his career heading the Bellevue 7/8 travel team's defense, helping them win a league championship. This fall, he was an assistant for the 2024 Cityside team and is currently the Defensive Coordinator at Ballard High School. |
Scott Pattison

Scott grew up playing lacrosse on Mercer Island, Washington. After his fantastic career at Mercer Island, Scott went on to play midfield and attack at Roanoke College in Salem, VA. Scott is a tremendous leader and has done an exceptional job at working with our youth teams, the foundation of every player that comes through our program.

Matteo grew up playing lacrosse in Bellevue, WA for the Bellevue Youth Lacrosse Program. He attended Bishop Blanchet Highschool in the greater Seattle area where he was a four-year starter and three-time captain, earning First Team All-Metro honors in 2012 and 2013. He played club ball for Seattle Starz, Brady’s Bunch, Team Washington, and West Coast Starz during his middle school and high school career. Matteo has a passion for coaching and leadership, and he focuses on making an impact by growing the game of lacrosse in the Pacific Northwest.

Sam Hanske is a Seattle native from the Ballard area and has been involved in the local lacrosse scene as a player and coach since 2007. He helped found the Ballard High School lacrosse program, and currently holds an assistant coaching position at Seattle Prep. Alongside coaching, he plays close defense for Buckley's Lacrosse Club.

Colton played youth lacrosse for the Issaquah Youth Lacrosse and Skyline Lacrosse program. After his youth days he went on to play two years of varsity Lacrosse at Skyline HS ultimately transferring to Eastlake HS. At Eastlake he was named captain and won a state championship under Coach O'Dougherty. From Eastlake Colton was recruited to Cabrini University where he won a DIII National championship in 2019.

Joe is a Washington state native, he grew up playing in the Bellevue lacrosse program from 3rd grade through high school. He won 3 state championships during his time at Bellevue as well as being named a Washington State All-American his senior year. Joe just finished his junior year of lacrosse at Mount Saint Mary’s university in Emmitsburg, MD. He has played in 40 games for the Mount and has started 33 of them. This will be Joe's third summer with CitySideLax.

David Funes is a Seattle native and will graduate from the University of Denver in 2019 after having played on the lacrosse team there since walking on in his Sophomore year. David is a left handed player with experience at both attack and midfield. Having grown up in Seattle, David played youth lacrosse for North Seattle, before continuing on to play high school lacrosse at Nathan Hale for Coach Snider and then at Seattle Academy for Coach Pattison. David also played in the Colorado Collegiate Box Lacrosse League during the summer of 2018 and was the 6th highest point getter. After college, David hopes to continue coaching to give back and keep helping grow the sport!

Jackson is a Seattle native playing lacrosse at Stevens Institute of Technology as an offensive midfielder. Jackson grew up playing youth lacrosse for Magnolia United and played high school lacrosse for Bishop Blanchet. During his high school career Jackson was a 2x All Metro Conference player and played club lacrosse for CitySide. Stevens is currently ranked #11 in DIII Lacrosse going into the NCAA tournament again this year.

Riley Johnson

Riley is a Seattle native playing lacrosse at Denison University as an offensive midfielder. Riley grew up playing youth lacrosse for North Seattle and played high school lacrosse for Nathan Hale and Seattle Academy. During his high school career Riley was a 4x All-Metro-Conference player, won two state championships, and was named All-American his senior year. In his two seasons at Denison, his team has won two NCAC Conference Championships and made it to the Elite 8 his freshman year. Denison is currently ranked #4 in DIII Lacrosse going into the NCAA tournament again this year.

Jack is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology (Rochester, NY), where he played four seasons at the attack position. Jack contributed to a team record of 72-8, which included winning four conference championship titles and appearing in three final fours and one national championship game. He currently lives in Seattle where he is an engineer at The Boeing Company and is receiving his masters degree from Johns Hopkins University.
