Weather Policy

In the event of adverse weather or unplayable field conditions, the Tournament Director reserves the right to:

  • Reduce game times in order to catch up with the schedule
  • Finish games before inclement weather arrives
  • Reschedule games, if possible
  • Convert tournament format as needed to provide the opportunity for teams to play as many games as possible
  • Every attempt will be made to complete a fully scheduled event

We will make every attempt to play every minute of every game but the safety of players and all tournament attendees comes first.

No refunds will be granted if these actions are necessary after the start of the tournament.

Play will resume in 30 minutes assuming no additional lightning strikes occur within 6 miles. Any further lightning strikes within 6 miles will reset the 30 minute clock. Tournament Director reserves the right to adjust schedule based on the delay (ex: game suspended in 1st half may resume at start of 2nd half, games suspended in 2nd half may be considered completed)
